dezzled Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 Title says it, currently using my X52 3 way switch to change on different master mode, except that I cannot do that for NAV mode, I have to re-select by switching again to either Master Mode I've chosen to display.
=Panther= Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 So you will need either ED or someone smarter than I to create a custom key command like: AA/NAV AG/NAV. Maybe look at the MASTER ARM logic and see if you can figure it out, to replicate it for a MASTER MODE switch. There is no such switch/button for NAV mode in the F-16. You enter NAV mode by selecting your current mode again. That's how it works in the real F-16. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
fudabidu Posted November 26, 2020 Posted November 26, 2020 Maybe consider an alternative: Use the 3-way switch for MRM and DGFT override modes 'as intended'. When using the special bindings the center position will bring up the last selected master mode. Incredibly useful when you're in AG and need to switch to an AA mode quickly. It has saved my life many times back in my BMS days. If you want all modes available on your HOTAS you could toggle between NAV and AG with one button (+modifier) and do A2A with the override switch. MRM and regular AA master mode are practically identical.
