I'm in a hurry so Mods please move where needed, but I am hoping to attract some attention before you do. I updated this morning and I cannot select the right side switches with the F-16. When I point at a switch it acts as if nothing is there. Sometimes I can get it to flip a switch randomly but right now, in VR OB, I can no longer cold start the F-16. Again the left side console and front console all work fine, but INS sensor switches etc do nothing when I point at them. Anyone else with this problem?

Thanks

Hey folks,

I wrote a post about this already and either it was deleted or it is not showing do to forum updates. PLEASE tell me others are having this problem. In the F-16 and F18, possibly more I discovered, the right panel is unclickable during startup. After takeoff the clickabaility of the right panel in both aircraft KINDA returns, sometimes I can point at a button and click it and sometimes not. I need help with this and I need to figure out where the link is to revert back to the previous OB version.  This is with the Rift S. This worked fine before the last update.

Thanks

I don't have either F-16 or F-18, so I can only comment on reverting. The guide on how to do it using command prompt window is here, but it got messed up in the new forum interface:

Easier way then will be to install the Skatezilla's GUI Updater utility (found in the same link) and revert using that one.

I just tried pretty much every button on the right side in the F-18 and they all worked for me.  I'm on the latest OB.  Tested battery first, then the rest of them.

Hey Fang, are you playing the game in full window mode? Pressing left Alt and Enter to get the game to run in full screen. I find if I don't have the game in full screen that clicking on the left or right console areas of the aircraft can sometimes make you click the mouse pointer outside of the game window. Just a thought.

It is probably as suggested, your mouse is not in the game focus.

I tried to play full screen (Alt+Enter) my mouse is actually still constrained by the original window size so I can’t even move my mouse left or right of the original window, I don’t even get an out of focus alert.

the best way to avoid this situation is to move your head more so that the switches are more central to your game window (view)

Thank you all for the responses. The mouse being out of window is a good theory however even the mouse cursor "falls through" on the buttons. I can put the rift controller down, move my head than slowly scroll the mouses crossmark on that side and it sometimes is there and sometimes falls through as well. I remember an issue like this in one of the aircrafts after an update but I can't remember which one. I think it was addressed and it fixed itself. THIS TIME, however, I am still having issues.

I am trying to revert back and I will report if I see anything but as of this moment I am still not getting anywhere. Don't take this the wrong way folks, but I honestly am bummed to see noone having the same issue. It literally happened with the latest update.

Any ideas or words on this let me know. I will update this if it gets fixed so if I havent updated past this post, assume I am still fighting the issue.

Thanks all!

You are truly wonderful for helping your fellow pilots out!
