Ryanwtod Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Good Evening guys, How's everyone? I have had a question regarding the GPS guided weapons. When I am using the TPOD to feed info to the weapons, I cannot seem to get the old info to clear in order release a second weapon on a different target. It's probably user error. The first weapon I'll designate the target in TOO mode and press TDC depress. If I release that weapon or decide to change targets what do I do? If I hit the undesignate button the TOO fields stay populated with the original coordinates. Am I doing something wrong?
Spurts Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 you just step to the next weapon then change the target in the TPOD, at least that is how it worked for a while.
silverdevil Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 hello. my process for JSOW is to change to TOO (this is per pylon and affects both missiles), change parameters for the weapon, pick a target, step, pick target, etc. AKA_SilverDevil Join AKA Wardogs Email Address My YouTube “The MIGS came up, the MIGS were aggressive, we tangled, they lost.” - Robin Olds - An American fighter pilot. If you have already designated a target via TGP and coordinates have been handed off to an guided weapon in TOO mode - if you decide not to employ on that target, you simply re-designate another desired target via TGP and the new coordinates will overwrite the existing coordinates for that station when handed off in TOO mode. Or if you WYPTDSG it will also overwrite existing coordinates for that station in TOO mode.
