[ .TRK FILE REQ.] black screen quite long, although no strong G-forces encountered at the time.

See trackfile, screen stays black in the end for quite some time, although barely any G-forces were encountered at that moment. (please don't comment on my tryhard takeoff attempt to get some AIM-9 off the rail onto that flanker xD )

Trackfile needs to be uploaded here in the forums.

telling you for the 10th time, impossible, due to insanely small ED forum limitations.... (cost reasons probably)

why do you keep insisting instead of simply checking the trackfile???

I , nor the team, will follow an external source. Nobody else seems to have any issue replicating an issue, making a .trk file small enough and uploading here.....but you.

Know and use all the capabilities in your airplane. If you don't, sooner or later, some guy who does use them all will kick your ass.

Why not? Google drive is one of the most secure external sources, I don't get what you're worried about

Don't you understand that many DCS players only fly multiplayer (because it's more realistic.....) and therefore most issues only occur after a long session (which is thus impossible to reproduce in singleplayer) and that therefore (long session) the MP trackfile is big??

So after finding an issue, why can you not go to single player and re-create it? The A/C does not change between MP and SP. Nobody else has that problem of recreating any issue they find anywhere. This only seems to a be a problem with you where you do not want to go back and look for the problem.

Us not using external sources other than the ones we trust is for security reasons and is a policy of ours.

Perhaps if you cannot do do or choose not to, save each flight as a video and then cut to the issues you have then upload it that way.

Know and use all the capabilities in your airplane. If you don't, sooner or later, some guy who does use them all will kick your ass.

Incorrect. Some things do. I just had it occur on a different issue (https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/257662-unable-to-enter-waypoint-in-multiplayer-same-procedure-fine-in-singleplayer/)

It's not only not "wanting" to go back, it's also often not remembering the steps that produced the issue.

.trks or .log files in the case of a crash. I'm not going down this rabbit hole again. The requirements for a bug report are clearly stated and pinned to the sub-forum.

  • ED Team

@DanielNL Please try to give more info, MP tracks are always going to be very tough for any dev to address, they need to be played back on the same version, and even then with the nature of MP, they can play back screwed up.

If indeed the track is playing for you correctly, note what you are doing leading up to the event in question. List them out step by step and share them here, as well, note the time the event happens, if its over a certain time period, then you can try to reproduce the event with the same amount of time. Make a video of the moments leading up to the event.

A bug needs to be reproducible, that means you should be able to reproduce it either in MP again, or in single player, you need to be able to give all the steps to reproduce. If you want to claim its MP only, then you needs to show you tried in both.

All this is pretty clearly stated in our How to Report a bug FAQ, I am sure Elmo would be happy to use a video reference if you can give him all the details to reproduce it each time, but right now, our initial report is very vague, and I am sure this isn't the only bug Elmo is currently working on, help us help you. Please and thank you.

  • Thanks 1
