I fly a DCS A-10C II and letters on UFC and CDU is nearly unreadable in VR (oculus rift S)...I try some things but with no effects.Did you have some tips or mods to have a readable dash in my A-10C?I put my settings to a minimum to have a good FPM in multiplayer;so,if someone have an idea on it...

Without knowing your settings or hardware it is hideously difficult to guess... see my settings in my signature for 1080ti which may give you some help... I would suggest if you have an nvidia card and are otherwise getting “good” performance aka 45fps or better you might want to check the texture filtering - quality setting in Nvidia control panel and make sure that’s set High Performance, as setting to quality causes the image to be dithered to make it smoother, causing text to be blurred.

The rift s is a budget vr set. While it’s ok it has limitations. One is the one you described - resolution

To have a better readability with my rift s in the F/A-18 cockipit, i've applied supersampling at 1.2 or 1.3 using Oculus Tray Tool (at a performance cost, obviously)

I have the Rift S, well for another 2 days before my G2 gets here. I run Oculus Debug Tool at 1.8 PD, Distortion Curvature at Low and Encode Bitrate at 500.

I can actually read the Standby Altimeter from the regular view, not leaning forward. It's small, but readable.

I have Nvidia set at midway on performance vs Quality. Also have DCS set at 1024 on the Resolution of Cockpit Displays.

My specs: I10900K Intel processor at 5.0 Ghz, Zotac 2080 Super Video Card, 32 Gb Ram, 2 TB M.2 NVMe SSD & 1 TB M.2 NVMe SSD WD's

I get steady 40 FPS anywhere but maybe a few dips on the Super Carrier.

I9-10900K CPU at 5.0 GHz, 32GB 3600 RAM, Nvidia 2080 Super

1 TB WD NVMe SSD, 2 TB WD NVMe SSD, Reverb G2, TM Warthog

Always set texture filtering to high performance in VR..  any attempt at quality “dithers” the edges of lines to make them “less straight” but more blurred. Which means that you get a blurrier /softer view...if you want more readable text you have to set it to high performance... which is the opposite of what you would think.
