can ya do sts 75 mission watch the tether break , and all the ufos show up lol..

looks like fun that.

Unfortunately in the original package there is no STS-75, maybe in expansions... I'll check around... But knowing the size of the Sim I wouldn't count on UFO's. (Same as there is no swimming for amphibious vehicles in DCS BS) :P Would be so cool to watch them get deployed from ships and attack them while they do that... Maybe with new engine... :D

this looks pretty cool, does it support widescreen?

Well, I can't see anything about wide screen in the settings menu, but if it supports TrackIR, my guess would be yes. You might try the demo and see it for your self, it's only 118 Mb in size:

All you need is the passion for the space!

How long do missions actually take?

Looks cool BTW :thumbup::thumbup:.

All missions are in real time, will last full time as in real life, thou if you in the hurry there is the time skip option which speeds up the time 10 times. So it's up to you how long the mission will last :D

Reentry is automatic, you gain manual control right after "roll reversal" at 50.000 feet and about 20nm from the runway... What can I say about flight model... fells like Su-25T fully loaded with engines off... Remember that SS glides to the runway with engines off. Right before landing you perform maneuver which is called the HAC (Heading Alignment Cone) descending in the spiral...

http://www.orbiterwiki.org/wiki/Heading_Alignment_Cone

And then you land on designated runway...

Watch official trailer here:

all about SSM2007 can be found here:

You can get free demo (118Mb) from here:

lol I'm getting there's no damage model, otherwise i would do all sorts of crazy stuff.

If you screw up you getting voice message:

,- Oh my God, what have you done? You've killed Space Shuttle crew!

And Mission accident report stating "Mid space collision" :D And if you complete the mission you getting recognition in form of virtual mission patch like these...

Welcome to SSM2007 mon... :D

Does the SRB (Solid Rocket Boosters) separates? Main tank separates automatically right after MECO (Main Engines Cut Off)... Most of the flight is automatic, you do some manual attitude adjustments, docking or capturing and landing, the rest of the flying is done automatically by DAP (Digital Auto Pilot) and thanks God for that. Landing is the most difficult part of all, cos you are coming in from like 600.000 feet up subsonic and you need to find the designated runway and your engines are off... Well you need to read some PDF which is accessible from Start menu, where you have things explained on how to navigate to the landing site and etc. Looks like you having fun, so Good Luck! Let me know if you have problems, cos I did had same problems... but then I "cracked on" ...

I'm glad that you, Peyoteros, actually promoted this sim so well around this community. I have been flying it like crazy when it was still in its buggy Alpha stage version, mentioned it before, but there was no real response.

Guys, this sim is really worth trying and worth the money that you will spend. So go for it!

It's awesome tiny Sim, and I do like every byte of it :D

So what the hell, let's share the fun :P

There is only one weak point I found about this Sim, it have no multiplayer possibility...

Maybe they'll add ability to share cockpit over network in later versions. Imagine multiplayer EVA :)

Extra-vehicular activity (EVA) is work done by an astronaut away from the Earth and outside of the spacecraft...

Oh yes please :D EVA for everyone :)

aww its a bit shame that it doesn't support widescreen, there's nothing about it in the options menu but i can tell things look a bit fat like its squished.

[sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

It does support widescreen. I am running SpaceShuttle at 1920 x 1080 on a 37" widescreen and it looks awesome with full graphics on.

[sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

are you sure it fully supports it, mine looks fine, but if you look really close, you can tell things are flatter than they are suppose to be. just take a look at the central fuel tank of the shuttle, it looks more like an oval instead of a circle.

Wow, that's certainly cool.

Did you know that Space Shuttle missions to the International Space Station fly over Western Europe some 20 minutes after launch? If it is twilight in Europe at that time, you can see both the Space Shuttle and the External Tank, which has been jettisoned but is still close to the Shuttle. I've seen it three times and it was awesome!
