MadTommy Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 (edited) LINKS: UPDATE: Here is my 1.1 version: (1.5MB zip file) http://www.mediafire.com/?twkbpzsklyn 1.2 version with airfield photos/info maps (4.5MB): http://www.touch-buddy.com/forums/local_links.php?action=jump&id=101&catid=4 If you want to adapt this profile, feel free, here are the *.psd files (984KB rar file). : http://www.mediafire.com/?zcxc2ut4eyj button1.psd makes all the 'standard' buttons. Each button text is on a seperate layer. suBK_V4.psd is the background Hello everyone... I've made a touch-buddy profile for the Russian Jets, it is 95% done, so here are some screenies, i'd appreciate some feedback, and any ideas or tips. ALL buttons work like real buttons, you will always know when a keystroke has been sent. The size is 1024 width by 790 height. ( i use LOVP in the gap at the bottom) It is not based on any type of recreation of real controls, it's just meant to be a good looking control panel in the correct 'theme' for the Russian jets. I'll post the profile in the next day or two once I've polished it up, there are just a couple of buttons I'm having a wee bit of bother with. I also intent to have a Comms. panel/tab to control all radio commands. When i post the profile, i'll also be happy to post the *psd files that made it, so if you want to adapt it to a different resolution and add different buttons etc you should be able to. Enjoy. Odin_Norway Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 That looks really sweet, but I'm concerned wether I'll be able to hit the correct buttons on my 8" screen. My fingers aren't so small. What screen do you use? Oдин
MadTommy Posted July 1, 2008 Author Posted July 1, 2008 That looks really sweet, but I'm concerned wether I'll be able to hit the correct buttons on my 8" screen. My fingers aren't so small. What screen do you use? Yeah it was really made for for much larger screens, i've actually been using it on my laptop, not a touch screen. You might have to adapt it with the touchbuddy toolkit to make it into 2 tabs, i'll also post any files that will help people adjust/adapt it to their required taste/resolution. i5-3570K @ 4.5 Ghz, Asus P8Z77-V, 8 GB DDR3, 1.5GB GTX 480 (EVGA, superclocked), SSD, 2 x 1680x1050, x-fi extreme music.
