Yellonet Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 Has ED any plans on what each module will contain, i.e. will all modules contain a flyable of some sort? Or is it possible that some modules will contain no new flyable but for example a new map with a suiting campaign and perhaps a few new AI units? Anyway, a module that I can forsee would be: DCS: Thunderbolt - Operation Desert Storm Flyable: A-10A Map: Iraq and surrounding area (perhaps only a part as Iraq is rather big, another part of the map could be released with the Apache module) Campaign: Desert Storm (Duh!) Obvioulsy the Apache could replace the Worthog in this package. i7-2600k@4GHz, 8GB, R9 280X 3GB, SSD, HOTAS WH, Pro Flight Combat Pedals, TIR5
EvilBivol-1 Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 Although we aren't ready to discuss details, the general idea is that modules will be released around new flyable aircraft, but will also include many other DCS upgrades, like AI, terrain, ME, etc. Those who are not interested in the flyable aircraft itself, will be able to obtain the concurrent DCS upgrades separately. That's all we can say for now. - EB [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Nothing is easy. Everything takes much longer. The Parable of Jane's A-10 Forum Rules

Yellonet Posted July 11, 2008 Author Posted July 11, 2008 India/pakistan map, such a map could use F-16, Su-27, Mig-29 and a lot of other interesting stuff, also it would be a very interesting terrain mud movers and helos. i7-2600k@4GHz, 8GB, R9 280X 3GB, SSD, HOTAS WH, Pro Flight Combat Pedals, TIR5
Esac_mirmidon Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 (edited) I think the most interesting map all over is Israel with south syrian border and east Egipt border. A lot of possibilities. Russian fancies, USA of course, and a desert map, one of my favourites enviroments. Naval Operations of course ( Us Navy Mediterranean Fleet ). Kuwait an a part of South Iraq would be fantastic also but no Su-27. Also a very interesting map could be Taiwan, Russian-Chinnese stuff against F-16 and so. eurofor Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 I would suggest Hindu Kush. A scene of both Soviet and NATO conflicts. And it's very beautiful! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
