Frederf Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 (edited) When in AG master mode and AGM-65 is selected the enable button on the throttle should cycle the sub modes VIS BORE PRE. Currently this is only occurring if WPN format is SOI. The enable button should change the submode regardless of current SOI. F16 EO Enable Cycling.trk Edit: Info is relevant -34 that describes the stepping through PRE/VIS/BORE delivery mode rotary has solely the condition that AGM-65 selected. Combined with fact that enable switch has no other conceivable function and enable switch never has SOI-dependent functionality*. *Refer MLU M3 document section "Recce Hands-on Control" which describes specific case of special enable switch SOI-dependent behavior. It states before an update when RECCE was SOI the enable switch would bleed through and do the A/A or AGM-65 enable switch actions as well as the RECCE action. This is further evidence that WPN SOI is not a requirement for enable switching. Edited January 31, 2021 by Frederf

USAF-Falcon87 Posted May 25, 2021 Posted May 25, 2021 Looks like the documentation got incorporated into the May 2021 version of the DCS F-16 manual ("E/O sub-mode:Cycles between PRE, VIS, or BORE E/O sub-modes. See theEmployment sections, below, for more information on the different sub-modes. You can also toggle sub-modes using the cursor enable button on the throttle quadrant system (TQS)."), but still only works on WPN page.
