Kuna Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 Hello guys, After playing Ka50 I bought Mi-8 module. Which campaigns are up-to-date and best story wise (no matter if it is payable) ? What could you reccmend for me ? **** P.S. is it normal that instrument and panels lightning are so dim with cockpit lightining on? (every red brightness dials are 100% up) Gamma is set to 1.4-1.6 and it works fine with other modules (F14,F16,F18) but in Mi-8 lights are extremely dark.
Flanking Moustache Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 Regarding the lights; I believe they're supposed to be fairly dim during daylight conditions. They look amazing during the night imo! I don't know which campaigns are the best, but I'm currently considering to buy the Crew campaign. It looks wonderfull from what I've gathered.
Fangs Out Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 I'll give you guys some recommendations The Crew Pt. 1 is pretty cool, some Civil and Military helo action. The Oilfield Campaign is all Civil and comes after Spring tension. The Border is mostly military but isn't as fun as the ones before And Memory of a Hero is good ,especially if you own the Ka-50 as its Civil and Military helo action. Memory of a hero and The Crew are what I'd recommend with Oilfield as a good contender and the Border is something you may want to avoid
thrustvector Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 i have them all, prob in order i would go oilfield border hero crew, but i also have and really like the Bay of Hogs, its free on the download section and is very good, 1st mission is sometimes a pain on last checkpoint, sometimes works sometimes not, but you could always play them individually

I'm quite picky when it comes to details: radio set to the correct frequency of the starting airfield/FARP, pressure altimetre setting that makes sense for the region and time of year you're flying in, weather conditions etc. : the 7 Bft winds were quite interesting but not too severe for helo operations. I also really dislike hotstarts.
