Strange photo with ATFLIR + NAVFLIR connecter with AN/ASQ-173 LST pod. 

 

Seems like Navy used all pods they have, and as wiki says Nite Hawk was in service untill 2008 and replaced by ATFLIR

Out of curiosity, how do you know that's ATFLIR?

The adapter looks like the one for ATFLIR - it looks to have the window where the NAVFLIR sensor was, and looks more chunky compared Nitehawk's adapter, or LITENING's adapter.

 

EDIT: Per Wag's comment on YouTube, Nite Hawk isn't planned, which is a bit of a bummer. I thought Nite Hawk was perhaps the more common pod for USN F/A-18Cs until fully replaced by ATFLIR later in the 2000s.
