Hi, im currently still a bit new in DCS, and I'm playing quiet a bit in VR.

One thing that sill tricks me is which buttons im pressing - I have set my joystick up, but with that many buttons, im not always sure what im pressing - Is there a way to get an button dialogue like in ARMA 3?

In arma 3, when you press a given button (lets say "b") then in the lower right corner, it says "Parking brake"

I was wondering if there is something similar so I can see if im pressing sensor select forward, aft etc.?

No. And frankly, if it were available I would want to disable it. I don't want to be distracted by things that pop up while I'm in the heat of the action. When I use the Maverick missile with the TGP in the A-10C I have to click a lot of buttons on my HOTAS in rapid sequence.

The only thing similar to what you are looking for, is when you hover the mouse over a switch or knob in the clickable cockpit. It then shows what that control is for.

I use a cryp sheet approach that helps me especially with commands I use more rarely or aircrafts I haven't flown for a while: On my secondary monitor I display an Excel format that shows the most important commands and the buttons I have bound them to on stick, throttle and button box.

I would like to see this addition and I think the option to display it would be welcomed by a few groups of people. I have heard that Tutorial-ists would appreciate it. I have also heard that VoiceAttack-ers would like this too.

Well, I get that once you are "used" to your controls, it makes sense not to have a small dialogue, but for traning I think it would be good.

Especially since I cannot go to a second monitor when playing in VR. - And in ARMA 3, it only shows the lates button press, so they don't stack on top of each other if you press a rapid sequence
