And most important: Can i transfer my stick settings and how is the VR performance? Steam Transfer FAQ: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/500/ This is the best help/information i have. Beyond this, ED customer service/tech support is your best bet. Stick settings can be imported from saved games folder. Just don't delete your Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input Folder or copy it to safe spot. That's where your joystick settings are stored. (DCS.openbeta depending on what you use). VR will still use SteamVR just for a non-steam game. I don't know of any reason performance would be different. I don't have a direct comparison point though to tell you for certain that Valve doesn't do something vindictive with performance when you run SteamVR with a non-steam game. You'll have a bit of a learning curve, but you'll benefit from the ED sales & bundles and ED won't have to Shell out 30% (I think this is the current Steam tax) to Valve for not doing a whole lot.
Eisprinzessin Posted March 19, 2021 Author Posted March 19, 2021 (edited) Thanks for you help. Edited March 21, 2021 by Eisprinzessin Specs: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-12900K 3.20 GHz, RAM 128 GB, Win11 Home, RTX3080Ti
=4c=Nikola Posted March 24, 2021 Posted March 24, 2021 Hornet and Harrier share same acquisition and targeting logic. A10C and F-16 share same same acquisition and targeting logic (minus A/A capability in A10). Naturally, it will be easier to transfer between similar aircraft. Do not expect fairness. The times of chivalry and fair competition are long gone.

WOPR Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 It depends on which version you are running. 2.7 will be on open beta first and likely a while before the stable channel gets 2.7.
