Ddg1500 Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 Greetings, after a nice meal and a good shower, I lied on my bed for another fantasy, i was dreaming if one day in the distant but foreseenable future, Northrop grumman could be generous enough to cooperate with Heatblur, with their advance compter, to bring a full fedility Asf14 into dcs as an moudel, with all those glass cockpit and IRST, and a stronger radar than f22, further range, super cruise, newer long range missle like aim54d, harpoon,maverick etc, oh i can't dream that much, that's too wonderful, could heatblur just go to northrop grumman to sign some future contract or something......., i know it could be dreamming but someday the heatblur may call Grumman Heatblur or something.
Fangs Out Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 While I would like to see an improved F-14, the ASF-14 or Super tomcat 21 would be a little bit unfeasable. Due to the fact it was mostly speculation and theres not performance tables for it. It should be said that DCS is striving to be realistic as possible . Still, If you can find Declassified documents for it and the systems required, then by all means you can have a Super tomcat 21 . For now,i'd wait until the F-14D is declassified so that we can have a realistic 21 century carrier wing with legacy hornets and late model tomcats TLDR: Until Documents can be found, I'm not in favor of a Super tomcat 21 Still, I'd like to be able to see this patch on a real ST-21
upyr1 Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 I really don't like the idea of what if planes in DCS, there are a lot of planes that actually flew that I don't expect to see. Due to the fact it was never produced I don't expect there to be a lot of concrete information. I would though like an F-14D.
