I am high using the minigun in DCS huey.. I BEG ED/TFC/DCS for more aircraft that have gunner positions..

i went again on my VR setup with the minigun, and i am in awe... still

i have not even flown a mission yet.

but with DCS Huey, VR, and the DIY minigun... the experience is just insane, like i am really firing a minigun... ( i never fired a minigun in real life.. though i watch many videos particularly with the venom/cobra marine CAS exercises) 

 

I hope the Ju87 Is still in works.

I hear the Mi24 Hind will have some kind of crew gunners (along with the pilot co-pilot)

would be great if polychop brings proper doorgunner support to the SA342 gaz..

 

i am still grateful for proper doorgunner support for the huey UH1H.

In the passenger compartment, the windows can be folded out of the way, and there are mounts for weapons such as assault rifles and machine guns. I remember seeing a picture of a hind with the doors open, with a 12.7mm KORD mounted on a tripod.

 

We're getting the Mi-24P which has a fixed GSh-30-2K on the side, and not a trainable turret, which is either a VSPU-24 w. YakB turret (Mi-24D/V) or the NPPU-23 w. GSh-23-2L turret (Mi-24VP, -35P, -35M).

 

I really hope we get the V as a variant, as it was the most produced variant and the most prolific.

You could try mi-8, it has a gunner as well
