-Relax- Posted March 24, 2021 Posted March 24, 2021 Hi i have upgraded to 32gb RAM and a new SSD Samsung 870 Evo 1TB. I read that it can be better to put the Pagefile on other drive asyour System is. My System is currently on a Samsung SSD 750 Evo. DCS is now on the new 870 Evo. And i have also a free 120gb Samsung SSD 840 Evo. So where to but the Pagefile for best performance? The fastets SSD is the new 870Evo, but i am not sure if i should bring the Pagefile on the same drive as my DCS is running. I could also bring Pagefile on a free 840Evo, little slower, but its free from Software. Or just leave it on System? Other Question would be maybe as i have enough space now. Would it make sense to Have DCS on the same drive as the system? Because my new one is faster i could Install Windows on the new drive for little faster boot (but not necessary) + DCS, but i read that its better to have DCS not on the same drive as your system is. Is that true? greets

Put the Windows Environment Variables on that drive as well.
