Another how do I get the FLIR on the HUD post?

I  can't get the FLIR to repeat on my HUD.  I have the FLIR switch on.  Night mode on.  Snensor select R to show FLIR on the MFD.  Sensor select down, and all that happens is that my hud gets slightly dimmer... no FLIR repeat on my hud.

 

Any idea what I'm missing?

the flir can be hard to see sometimes.

there is a contrast knob next to the night mode switch. try playing around with it until quality is acceptable to you.

 

(also its SSS down/depress long)

not sure what is going on, I have had issues also when pushing down on my SS switch it just goes to the TPOD however if I press the keyboard button for SS down it instantly brings up the FLIR onto the hud, hmmm, maybe there is something buggy about the actual control input for the joystick.
