solved Frozen Mousepointer in VR (not a WindowsOutOfFocusIssue)

I have a very frustrating problem with a frozen mouse pointer since about 1 week. The cursor cannot be moved on DCS menue screen.
If I put the HMD down so that "it" recognizes that I am not wearing an HMD, I can move the cursor again. If I put the HMD back on, it freezes again at its last point.

So I close and restart WMR, SteamVR and DCS in different ways until it works again at some point by "coincidence". So I currently need about 20 minutes to get DCS to run with a working mouse pointer (if at all).
I also speak for a friend on the German subforum with exactly the same issue. Has any of you ever had this problem?

This behavior is not entirely unknown to me. Had it been extremely rare in the past and then, only one program restart was necessary.
Somehow i suspect Steam VR because it crashes occasionally.
I don´t use controllers in VR, waiting for PointCTRL which also represents a mouse.

Ok, I finally found the trigger of the problem
In the WMR settings there are two options:
1. Automatic switchover via headset presence sensor
2. Manual switching with Windows logo key + Y
Option 1 brought the problems, option 2 solved them.

You deserve a medal for this post. I have lived with this pain in the a$$ probem for years..

This fixed the issue immediately for me. I was still in game when I switched settings and my mouse came back to life. So many times I have restarted DCS because of this issue.

Settings>Mixed reality>Startup and desktop>Input switching.

Select: Manually switch using Windows logo key + Y.
