Pilotasso Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 (edited) the Rooivalk doing a complete roll, I believe that it is one of the few choppers in the world that can do this, (Lynx being the other one I know) The apache also can do it...and the allouette III too. we had french enginners over here monitoring maintenace at my company several years back. Somebody told them we coul do loopings with them. the engineers doubted and said "no way in hell" since they were working for the company that designed them. well a looping was indeed performed leaving the enginners utterly stunned. We didnt tell them we scraped that particular helicopter though. Bent airframe. Edited September 9, 2008 by Pilotasso .
Zulu Posted September 9, 2008 Author Posted September 9, 2008 lol but most people argue that the apache doesnt go completly inverted, not sure about the alloouette II but im sure the rooivalk doesnt get a bent airframe! Cola Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Really cool Agusta pictures! I guess there's no hope of seeing the 109 in a DCS module anytime soon so pictures are appreciated. ;) "Well, ya know, she's not pretty like an A129, but more like an AH-64, you get an instant hard-on when you see her."
Vekkinho Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 OT but I remember SOKO Gazelle doing loops during Pleso Airshow in 1988! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
