Timeline for other weather-related implementations?

I'd like to see rain showers moving.  I took off from Incirlik AB RNY 05 in rain.  The rain ended about 5 miles north of the base.  I had winds at 15 going south and nothing moved.  I would like to see the rain moving with the wind, ie you sit waiting for a shower to pass before departing, or having to wait for a shower to pass in order to land.

Clouds and rain don't move at the moment (they warp within themselves, but don't actually change location) so hopefully this will come in the future.

The carrier has been really fun in this respect,  as the weather doesn't move but the boat steams through it.  I launched the other day in a hole in the rain with peeks of blue sky overhead, and trapped an hour later on a case III right down to minimums in heavy rain and low ceilings.  It was fun! 

 

But yes, it'll be even better when the weather moves!
