  1. I just acquired WinWing's F15EX grip, (Replacing my F18 grip) and I'm remapping the controls. I am unable to map the X/Y for the throttle slew control. The "box" shows as a light blue vs darker blue, and I cannot do either an Axis assign or any type of assignment for it. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
  2. Thank you for the assistance!!! I changed my display resolution and there they were! Again thank you, everyone!!
  3. Are you referring to F-16 specific mods? I have like the 479 range targets, A4, Blackawk and C-130. I have ran a slow repair to see if that fixed the issue but nothing changed. I'm using the MT Beta as well.
  4. I am having trouble with the Weapon page for the Mavericks. I don't have the tracking lines until I lock on a target and the cross hairs are closed. I have to "guess" where they are and TMS up adjust, TMS up again until they finally appear and tracking a target. I also don't have the FOV "box". This makes it very difficult if not impossible to boresight with the TGP using pre mode, and don't even ask about using vis or boresight. Attached are a few screen shots of what I see. Also the tracking cross, will both disappear or show just the horizontal line as I move the TDC. I don't know what I'm doing incorrectly. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
  5. well it happens even at night when the there is no light coming in, and i've checked the usb and swapped ports, with no joy
  6. I have been having a recent issues with my TrackIR5 everything will be working correctly, then all of a sudden my view point will be looking down and to the right in the cockpit. I am unable to recenter the view ( the camera will have both green lights on) and if i bring up the trackir program it shows that's the direction I am looking at. I ahve to exit DCS and restart the TrackIR program. Everything software wise is current and I'm using the MT Beta version. Any suggestions?
  7. i should thought that when doing TMS left short for Mode 4 interrogation, targets that reply have a green circle (as shown in the screen shot) and then any unk target will show a box around it. Thats how it worked before the update.
  8. I am replaying the NCTR training mission for the viper, and I have noticed with the latest update, when I do TMS Short on the unk target, I do not get the "BoX that is supposed to surround the target. Also I don't know if this is a bug or not, but the green circle is not showing on the friendly targets. The attached screen shot is after TMS left short. V/R Pmedic548
  9. Now I can't seem to duplicate the problem. Is setting the TGP code dependent on the WOW switch? On one hotstart it didn't seem to work, on the cold start and second hot start it did. coldstart_LASER.trk hotstart_LASER.trk hotstart_LASER2.trk
  10. I have several missions I've downloaded and also created with the aircraft already running. When I go to set the LASER codes via the UFC I input the numbers, ie 1668, press enter and the scratch pad erases. If I change the mission so that the aircraft is cold and dark I am able to input the codes.
  11. So I had a senior moment while playing around with various curves and settings and messed up the TDC curves. What are the default curves? Thank you
  12. Add me into the being curious about the whole thing. I have been trying to learn the new HTS and for the most part it' s going well, but I seem to be blind to a few SAM's..I placed a SA2 system saw the SA2 on RWR but not on HTS. But I"m seeing other systems on both the RWR and HTS. I'm looking for/forward to more detailed instructions.
  13. I am and idiot.... I didn't have the airbase set right.....DOH!!!!!!
  14. and another follow up...just created a quick mission, placed the aircraft on the airfield, cold dark, and when i try to communicate with the ground crew, I hear my commands being given, ie chief place the wheel chocks, but there is no response from the crew chief. canopy is open battery is on...
  15. as a follow up, the other missions i have created, the crew chief comms and commands work just fine. So I did something when i created this mission that now with the update the crew chief comms commands don't work. Could it be in the radio freq part of the mission editor or something else?
  16. It is at the start of a mission, Nellis AFB, I'm using a simple mission that I created just for general training and just flying....I've always been able to use the comms menu (using the switched mapped on my hotas, select the ground crew, then placewheel chocks, arm refuel etc. I hear myself give the command and the crew chief respond, then the commanded action happens such a placing wheel chocks. Now since the update, there is only silence and no actions. But when I go thru the ATC or Flight commands, i have both the audio and actions occuring.
  17. I am unable to communicate with the ground crew since the last update. Unable to issue any command, however the comm commands for ATC, wingman etc work as advertised. Not for sure if it's a bug or something else.
  18. I've noticed that when configuing an aircraft and I make the tail number block blank, when I start the mission "000" has been placed. This is annoying when the skin I choose already has a tail number as part of the skin. Could "blank field" be blank on the tail?
  19. So question when droping a pair of JSOW or WCMD, you can select trail or side by side release. So when using the TGP and designating the ground point, which weapon is hitting the point and which weapon is hitting behind or to the side? I many be making it more complex but if I am droping on a target area with the weapons in trail, and set say a spread of 500 feet, is one tracking the point and the other 500 feet behind? So in some situations should I "lead" the designated area have the weapons better cover the area I'm attacking? And if dropping side by side, is the selected weapon covering one side, say I've selected the weapon on the right side, is it striking right and the left striking 500 feet (or my selected spacing) to the left or vice versa. I'm just trying to get a handle on how using the weapons in pairs how to designate accurately with the TGP for maximum effectiveness. Thanks
  20. As a follow up, Bull was used for aircraft in an air to ground config, Snake was A2A and we also used Viper for A2A. If a jet had the callsign Snake, it was usually a short mission, usually under an hour, 0.8 was common mission time, Viper indicated a longer A2A lasting usually 2.5 to 3 hours.
