Please Help Me ... With Seting Saitech Hotas Non Pro X52

I have been looking for a map of what I should set up on my joystick and throttle for a Saitek non pro X52. Or for a profile I can download and install for it? And where I would put the profile?Also should I program it in game or use the Saitek software?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am totally green to the sim world. Also I am not very computer smart so take that into account in your answers to me.

I can't help much with the x52 stuff specifically (don't have one), but depending on what aircraft you are working on, Chuck's Guides usually has a page or two showing how to layout buttons to a Warthog HOTAS, that then you can adjust to fit your X52:

Then in the user files section there's some profiles for the X52:

You'd put those diff.lua profile files in your <user>\Saved Games\DCS\InputUserProfiles folder. Then in the DCS controls screen, up at the top next to the device name, there is a caret that has a dropdown menu to save/load profiles for that device.

Hi.

I have 52Pro, so nojoy, but my advice is:

Config the hotas INSIDE DCS, with no profile on it, as much as you can, and then , if in need for more functions, then program them in the mode 2 or mode 3 of the 52. Also, as Munkwolf adviced, use the original hotas (the one in the plane, I mean) and try to replicate it as mucha s you can in the DCS setup.
