Dumb but simple question...

Hi everyone.

 

Have a quick question about the Mig 29 variants. In game from the main menu page, controls refer to MiG 29, MiG 29C and the MiG 29G . 

 

In game If I make a mission editor mission for Russia, I see Mig 29 A and MIg 29 S

How do these variants relate to each other ?

In Cyrillic alphabet (used in Russia) C letter reads S, so Mig29 C is the same with Mig29 S

I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, but if I understand correctly: The A version is an older version. The S (or C) is newer.

If I had thought about it I could have matched the letters up between the two alphabets, doh.

Version "A" is the older basic variant.

Version "G" is the NATO version of "A" - if I am not mistaken.

Version "S" ("C") is the newer version which has: ECM, R-77, TWS and ER/ET missiles.
