Shadow KT Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 In the past AI infantry, would try to get out of your way and dodge your aircraft module, if you tried to run them over. If you got close to them, they would start running to re position. They no longer do that AI no Dodge.trk 'Shadow' Everybody gotta be offended and take it personally now-a-days
Flappie Posted June 25, 2021 Posted June 25, 2021 (edited) I didn't know AI were capable of avoiding moving vehicles at some point. When was the last time you saw this happening? Edited June 25, 2021 by Flappie ---

When was the last time you saw this happening? Honestly, I cannot remember.... It is not everyday that you try to run over infantry with aircraft.... Maybe back in 2.5.X is when I last tried it, at least an year ago. 'Shadow' Everybody gotta be offended and take it personally now-a-days
Flappie Posted June 25, 2021 Posted June 25, 2021 The one time I had to do this, it was in a Huey official campaign. I just couldn't kill an infantry located on an inclined roof: he was bulletproof. The poor thing didn't even blink when I went right through him... and I was able to resume the mission. This was 4 or 5 years ago. ---

This was 4 or 5 years ago. Last time I tested it... which was very long time ago... might even have been 2 years ago, what happened was.... once you ran over the first guy, the rest were like... oh shit, this guy crazy, lets run. The moment you start approaching them, they would disperse. Obviously, if you are going over 100 knots and they are in the open, not easy to dodge, but they did try. I was thinking maybe it has something to do with the disperse option ? Maybe they had to sack this feature ? Or it was broken, due to other fixes they've had to do, such as movement of infantry while in Red state 'Shadow' Everybody gotta be offended and take it personally now-a-days
