Is there a Tomcat version of the Supercarrier Launch mission that comes with the SC? Or something similar?

I've been a DCS player for awhile, but because of real life commitments I am just now able to play the Tomcat and supercarrier (perfect timing with 2.7 clouds).

 

I have searched far and wide for a basic Persian Gulf mission with a busy and realistic carrier deck w/ realistic carrier group where I can learn/practice in the F-14B, no enemies needed.

 

I tried copying, renaming and editing the Sc's Hornet Launch mission but it is locked and won't allow me to save any changes. Any help is appreciated!

Or even a carrier group template with populated deck? I'd prefer to download one already made than to make it myself in ME (it's been awhile) but if one is already out there I just can't seem to find it.

Nope, the Qual mission starts you on the boat. The Case 1 and Case 3 missions start you in the air. You can find a Qual mission for each map that has ocean water, Caucasus, Syria and PG.

For some extra immersion try mission one of the Reforger campaign, too, it is carrier quals close to how they do it irl.
