However if anyone from DCS can confirm, would make make decision if I should go or not easier. Also You guys were at the Rc simulations show in Bristol, last year. Any plans to repeat that again this year at the show, end of Nov. Know You must be very busy now, and hopefully I will have BS at the end of Fri anyway, If I can buy the download version in the west. But would still be very very keen to see it there. Yep went last year, its only 15 or so miles from here, its not bad and you can sometimes get some good deals, However be aware It does seem to be a microsoft promotion for FSX only, at least it was last time I went. Didnt see any other flight sims there. The best for our area although very very small, is one done by RC Simulations in Bristol, Only an hour or so away and although it feels like a club meet, in a community hall round the back of the hotel, it does have some nice deals and things on show, I got to play with BS there last year. :D http://www.rcsimulations.com/fsshow.html You get to meet alot of simmers like ourselves and have a good time, Again its mainly FSX but last year there was Falcon, BS and a intresting Spitfire sim to play with. Don't thing DCS is there this year But you never know. The flight was superb had a good chat with JimMack - nice meeting JimMack and thanks for answering my questions. It would seem that we may well be looking at Early February for the game to hit the UK. The next Mod will be the A-10 I also met Cowboy10uk, nice meeting you buddy we had a great chat about blackshark. Only around three more months to go guys - if it dont slip, not long now chaps. And Saitek had poor prices compared with what i could find from my Internet source, I showed them the prices and they didn't even want to match it no problem will order on line way cheaper. Cowboy10uk Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 Well Its taken me a few days to get over it, But As Rapid and RHUB4RBCrumble stated, BS was on show at Birmingham and it was amazing, A HUGH thanks to JimMack, who was very patent with me and all my sily questions all day, Think he was glad to see me go in the end ;) Managed to have quite a few flys with it, trying out low level and few hard manovers and Landing, Come to the conclusion that i'll be ok at flying but the landing may be a problem, Didnt manage One without crashing :) Sure that landing isnt important though. Was Great meeting Rapid, Hope to meet up with yolu again soon and see you online mate. To be expected there was a few bugs showing, but Jim was watching us all like a hawk and taking everything down that happened. ALL I can say guys, YES we were disappointed when it was put back, BUT it will be worth it, It flew well, smooth and the graphics were good. It wil be worth the wait. Oh and they flyers they were giving out states FEB 2009. So fingers crossed, Also saw the Manual, DAMN that thing is big, even bigger than my Falcon 4 one and Urze's collective mod. Impressed very very impressed Urze, you have done a great job there. One more thanks has to be to BOB and Carol from RC simulations who allowed BS to be shown on their stall, Bob did a great setup with Track IR, 4 Screens, and platform motion sim and full Heli controls, OK the setup cost around 10 Grand but hell it was great to play on :D See you all again on the 29th, well if I havnt scared Jim away that is.
