For PC-tethering you have to be careful about bandwidth because it only has USB 3 connection which has much lower bandwidth compared to DP1.4 port in the Vive Pro 2. This means that picture quality will not be as good because video compression will be used to push video/audio data through the USB 3 port, similar to Quest 2’s Link. I sit here at my desk with a throttle cable, stick cable, rudder cable. usb cables, etc. What is one more cable from the headset LOL. Now for larger room scale stuff standing and moving around, yeah I can see that being a big desire for wireless. But for me for seated VR experiences, give me the cable and all the throughput that can go through it. I want that puppy plugged into my GPU directly. I’d be interested to see what DCS looks like once you strap it on. i7700k OC to 4.8GHz with Noctua NH-U14S (fan) with AORUS RTX2080ti 11GB Waterforce. 32GDDR, Warthog HOTAS and Saitek rudders.
