My Hind keeps falling down like a stone

I know you will hate me and tell to read the manual, but I'm too old, tired and lazy to do that.

As a good boy I checked my controls first, assigned and tuned axis, trimmer, collective etc. Made a quick mission (start in the air) and found myself on earth in 3 seconds past mission  start.

Checked "right-shift"  - all axes are moving normally, but it seems that aircraft doesn't respond to controls.

What I'm doing wrong, please, tell me.

What were you doing when you crashed? Were you flying slowly and descending slightly? Could have been vortex ring state. Where you loaded up heavy and slowed down? You might have dropped below ETL and been too heavy for an out of ground effect hover.

It seems like my engine fails immediately. I used "active pause" and my blades stopped rotating in to minutes.

You set this mission up? Can you check what your starting altitude is, starting speed, starting fuel state? Maybe there’s an issue in the setup

can you get the quick play free flight missions to work?

also your collective controls could be reversed. Check the inverse option and try that

Edit: also if you’re new to helos, don’t bind the “throttle.” That shouldn’t be moved in flight

I agree with @Relic - the first place to start is check that your collective is not reversed (I had to invert mine to make it work), and the same for your throttle - I do have mine bound but it needs to be at full revs before you start raising the collective

Can you post a trk file please? After you exit a mission there is an option to save the track (trk) file.

Yes, sure.

It seems my Hind doesn't react to input at all (the rest aircrafts are ok)

I made a mission to start from runaway.

I can see that my stick and collective are moving normally inside the cockpit, but it doesn't affect the helicopter from outside. Flaps, nothing moving.

I'm really puzzled.

Like there is some total breakdown in controls.

Does it happen with instant action missions, all mission? Can you post a mission too please?Screen_210617_173819.jpg

There is something strange going on.

If I load your trk in the mission editor and fly it  from there, there is no problem... 🤔

Ok ladies and gentlemen, thank you all for the help!

But Sherlock solved this mystery himself.

I had "Game flight mode" toolbox checked, that's why Hind didn't respond properly.

I'm sure it's a serious bug, because it shouldn't work this way. In other modules this toolbox basically prevents you from stalling. In Mi-24 module it shuts controls off.

It is a known issue and has been mentioned elsewhere in the forums that this has to be turned off at the moment

Glad you have it working though 🙂
