I'm really scratching my head how people seem to have such troubles with the Hog's TGP, as it is crystal clear on my side and I have no issues at all to recognize stuff on it.

So I gonna repeat my question from earlier in this thread which everyone ignored so far:

Have you guy tried to adjust contrast and brightness of the MFD?

Yes we did.
Did you compare TGP screen in sunlight and in cloud's shadow? And during day and night?

This is how it did look like couple of patches ago (can't remember if this change was introduced with clouds or Caucasus textures change)image.png

And this is like it looks now

The problem is background/ground texture, which apears hot and makes TGP unreadable

And readability changes whit distance, but the closer you are, the harder is to spot a target.

This matches my experiences 100%.  So far, I think it's only Caucaus that's seeing this problem, and the intensity of it varies.  I've been able to make out targets on GAW for example (nowhere near as clearly as before), but sometimes, no matter how much I play with the MFD rockers, there is zero IR readabilty.  A good example is the Caucaus instant action missions, which were absolutely fine before, but now have a different cloud layer.

I drove myself mad trying, and being unable, to spot some contacts in the second mission of Enemy Within before I was aware of this problem.  Definintely something wrong.

Thanks, I see what you mean now!

It does look the same on my side as well, I just never really thought about it being an issue, but when I look at your last pic and the static structure to the left of "LSR" especially I have to admit that the picture is indeed not as clear as it used to be. I actually had to deal with the same static structure yesterday on the BlueFlag Persian Gulf server and it was indeed pretty easy to overlook, although it is not exactly game breaking as some posts here suggest.

Hey All,

I noticed that blown up vehicles, bomb craters and bullet strikes on the ground still have pretty close to their original contrast.

I was playing on Marianas yesterday near Tinian Int Airport at the older airstrip.  There is allot of tress in that area shading overgrown runways.

Using WHot, the live vehicles had some but very little contrast to the trees and were difficult to find.

But...

The dead vehicles were bright white and I could spot them with ease.
