Machalot Posted June 20, 2021 Posted June 20, 2021 Tonight I landed and then took off from an airfield on Cyprus, not listed on the kneeboard, so no REF number. I entered the longitude and latitude using REF/LOLA in Input mode and pressed LS/SKU. However, after switching back to Output, the display still showed the REF number from the original airfield I took off from (9002 Adana), rather than the new LOLA I had just entered. Is this a bug or correct behavior? "Subsonic is below Mach 1, supersonic is up to Mach 5. Above Mach 5 is hypersonic. And reentry from space, well, that's like Mach a lot."

Flappie Posted July 19, 2021 Posted July 19, 2021 I'm away from my PC right now but I'm pretty sure this was debated a long time ago. IIRC, HB had answered us we must essentially use L/MAL when entering landing bases. LS is the starting airfield, L1/L2 are the "terminal" airfields. ---

I was trying to update LS so I could take off again from the alternate airfield. I didn't know the Ref number because it was on Cyprus and the Viggen kneeboard page isn't long enough to include it. Flappie Posted July 19, 2021 Posted July 19, 2021 (edited) Here you go, I found my initial bug report. This is the reason why I never use LS: Edited July 19, 2021 by Flappie ---
