No animations of pitot tube

I know it is not important at the moment, but currently animations on the pitot tube are nonexistent. As far as I know, Mi-24 shares almost same pitot tube with Ka-50 and MiG-21 or at least it is similiar.

No matter how you fly it doesn't respond at all.

Very easy to reproduce, screenshots of Mi-24 flying in reverse and sideways and Ka-50 flying sideways included.

The weather-vane function would definitely be useful.

I don't want to be nagging, but I can't understand why it was moved from bugs & problems to a wishlist when it's to me it seems it is a function that doesn't work yet - and the pitot sensors should move regarding weather and speed of aircraft?

Personally, there are few things that are kinda weird with the animations of the Mi-24P.

 

On the one hand you've got things that are more noticeable that aren't present:

• The vanes on the pitot tube not being animated, despite it being right in front of you and them being animated on the MiG-21bis and Ka-50.
• The optic of the Raduga-Sh not being animated (apart from the doors), despite a similar thing being animated on the OLS-K on the MiG-29s, Su-27 and Su-33.
• The handles for the doors not being animated, despite them being animated on the F/A-18Cs ladder.

But on the other hand, we do have at least one thing animated, despite it being something you'll only notice if you go right up to it, that being the rotating beacon light on the tail boom, they've actually modelled the bulbs spinning around (they don't quite line up with the flashes, but they are there), while I'm grateful for such details, it would be better to prioritise details that are more noticeable, or that other aircraft have.

WHy is this a post? We know it is early access, that is why there is a heavy discount. There are lots of little things that arn't quite working (tail rotor feathering another example) but this is exactly what early access is. We will no doubt see steps along with every update to implement such details!

What?

 

Just because a product is in early access, doesn't mean you shouldn't report bugs or make wishlist items for it.

 

And as far as I can tell, the tail rotor is animated (at least in the model viewer).
