Current release/stable version is 2.7.2.8165.2. If you have open beta installed on your PC, you can install the Marianas islands terrain through the DCS module manager, like any other aircraft/terrain/DLC campaign/asset. ---
AvgWhiteGuy Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 I thought there was a way to change your _download directory. I can remember last year changing it to F:\DCS\_downloads as my C:\ was full. But now I can't remember how/where I did that. On another note, is there a way to download/update JUST the new version and not all the Terrains again? Some Terrains I am not using at all right now (NTTC & Persian Gulf), until I get another SSD, but I'm dying to see this new Marianas. Appreciate advice on that. ED Team f-18hornet Posted July 11, 2021 ED Team Posted July 11, 2021 After you get a new SSD you can save some of your terrains or _download folder to another drive using mklink. rkracht01 Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 New to this problem. Purchased Heatblur F4E. Cannot update DCS because of insufficient space in download folder. DCS World Open Beta is on my G drive. My D drive has 1tb of available space. Can someone provide a step by step guide regarding how to move DCS over to my D drive and then how to modify DCS shortcuts to lead to the new location? Thanks.
