+1 plus it would be great if we could get more of them.

The other thing is putting them on trucks.

Yeah, right now we have what? two mortars in the entire game? One is that little stand-alone thing, and the other is the Nona. Then again, when it comes to long-range fire support in general, DCS is quite lacking.

Yeah, the 2B11 and the 2S9.

And the 2B11 doesn't have a crew, it just slides around when you move it (EDIT: Nope, you can't move it at all), you can't mount it on a truck (though it might be a bit on the big side for doing that).

Plus I'm fairly sure all artillery (apart from rocket) are just firing generic HE rounds, just of the right calibre - which is the only ammunition type available.

But yeah, it would be good to get some BLUFOR mortars, such as the L16/M252 81mm mortar (preferably both - should be fairly easy as the M252 is derived from the L16).

And let's not forget the various mortar carriers NATO forces have developed over the years. Heck, the M113 would fit in just about any army that isn't allied with the Reds given how many 113s were built. Then there's some of the freaking awesome ones like the PzH2000 which can put five shots in the same spot at the same time (Multiple Round, Simultaneous Impact, or MRSI). Then there's the various other NATO Rocket launchers and Tube Artillery that had been developed over the decades.

On the subject of trucks techincals would be nice.

I think you are right, all they have is HE rounds. I figure they could use some guided shells, AP and the like.

Yeah, something long requested.

Hopefully we'll get something like this, though preferably with the weapons having a standalone version.

Ideally they'd have the rounds they really have.

Here's the best I've found so far for the 2S9, can't find much for the 2B11.

Though most have HE/HEF, Smoke and Illumination to name a few.
