siwymaligan Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 (edited) Hi, My problems started when DCS crashed on Caucasus after about 10mins of flying. Then at syria it started crashing at Mj-24 startup. What I did since then: - repairing DCS - reinstalling it from scratch, with importing only controlls - deleting metashaders2, fxo and bazar/shaders folders - reinstalling windows together with disk formating - installing newest and older nvidia drivers (465.89, 466.47, 466.77, 471.11) - installing DX11 and 12 - decreasing clocks of GPU and VRAM only difference is, that it crashes now after about 30mins. Here's latest log: dcs.log-20210628-200118.zip Edited June 29, 2021 by siwymaligan
siwymaligan Posted June 29, 2021 Author Posted June 29, 2021 another one, together with MSI afterburner snapshot just after crash: dcs.log-20210629-124634.zip

Usual causes are: GPU / RAM / CPU overclocking or undervolting (recent example) a faulty or insufficient PSU dust clogging the CPU Some weeks ago, someone said his Corsair iCUE software was messing with his SSD. As soon as he disabled it, his DCS stopped crashing. If iCUE is installed on your computer, you want to give it a go. ---
siwymaligan Posted June 29, 2021 Author Posted June 29, 2021 - My GPU, CPU and RAM are running at stock clocks. No undervolting or overclocking was made. Only once I tried DOWNclocking or OVERvolting. It didn't change anything. - PSU is OZC ZT 650W- worked fine with Radeon 5700 XT, which has bigger power consumption - CPU is running at 40deg C, with new bequiet dark rock pro 4, so it's not overheating I don't have Corsair ICUE installed
hornblower793 Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 Do you have nVidia in-game overlay enabled? Flappie Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 (edited) @siwymaliganThis sometimes works when DCS freezes. Maybe it will help you: Empty "C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS.openbeta" Empty "C:\ProgramData\NVIDIA Corporation\NV_Cache" (Windows might refuse to delete some files unrelated to DCS - just hit "Ignore") Edited June 29, 2021 by Flappie ---
Flappie Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 Someone else has just fixed a DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED issue: ---
