fixed Unable to input 10 digit grid as O/S point

6 digits work fine.  'Precise' is boxed on HSI/DATA.  Specifying O/S with range and bearing works fine also.  Once the point is entered using bearing and range, the 10 digit grid for this point is also shown.

 

No problem entering precise grid as a waypoint/OAP.

 

edit: I didn't think track was needed for this, if so I'll go through the drill.

It is always needed if you want to make sure the team can quickly look at it. Bignewy did look at bugs without tracks often, but it still ensures a quick work. "Just always upload it" is my mantra.

Very short track. First, trying to enter grid coords into O/S (from wpt 1) - only 6 digits are accepted.

Then, entering the same grid into the first available (blank) waypoint. (#5) - no problem there.

Flying the Hornet and entering 10 digit grid co-ordinate into the UFC.  My first screenshot shows the 10 digit precise co-ord 0042696142 before I press ENT on the UFC.  In the 2nd screenshot you can see the last number of the co-ord for the WPT has been reduced by one to be 0042696141.  

Does anyone else have this (very minor?) issue.

IIRC that's an issue that's been reported previously in the Hornet bugs subforum.  Do a search there.

Hi all, 

 the 10 Digit entry issue was fixed but the corruption you see is due to the panel itself not being able to display 10 digits correctly. 

If you have any public evidence it should be different please PM me
