known issue Issues/bug with connecting to refueling basket during supercarrier coldstart mission for Persian Gulf

When I attempt to refuel in this mission the probe does not attach to the basket properly after proper procedures and communications with the tanker. What I do is abort the refuel and repeat procedures again to have the tanker send the basket back out and eventually the basket will connect properly( it might take 2 aborts). Extremely frustrating.

this is a known issue, sometimes if you have had a bad contact or you get break away you will need to start the pre-contact again. 

We have plans to improve A2A refuelling but no ETA, this is something for the future. 

For now continue to practice it does become easier.
