bond Villain Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Hi All, I'm hoping someone can help me. When assigning key commands in DCS, it sees left and right Alt as separate key buttons. Using stream deck, I can program left and right Shift, Ctrl, just not Alt. The left Alt works fine, the right Alt (Alt GR) has issues, when I us it in the streamdeck software to assign a hotkey, when I press the ALT GR (Right Alt) it registers the keystroke as L-Ctrl+R-Alt Has anyone had this problem and a good way to sort it. Oilman100 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 If I remember correctly change your keyboard to US (you most lightly have UK) and this should sort the issue, when finished switch back. 1 Asus ROG IX | Intel i7-9700K | RTX 2080TI | G.SKILL 32GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM | Samsung 970 EVO 2TB M2 | LG 43” 4K Monitor | TrackiR | Stream Deck XL | Warthog HOTAS | Cougar MFDs x 3 | Saitek Rudder Pedals | Logitech G13| Corsair Virtuoso Wireless Headset |

I use US keyboard and language. The issue is still there for me. Thanks BV I went by the Bar Raiders discord (it's not what you initially think! BarRaider is a Stream Deck app creator) and asked a similar question. They replied with Super Macro: https://github.com/BarRaider/streamdeck-supermacro/releases/tag/v2.1 It works well. In "Short Press" put {{RALT}{a}} Change the "L" to "R" if you want the other one. You can also do something like: {{RALT}{RSHIFT}{a}} if you wanted to. It is working for me in DCS. Oddly enough I sometimes have to keybind it "by hand" in the DCS Options Controls menu, but it works fine in-game. Here is the keyboard list for the modifier keys: https://github.com/BarRaider/streamdeck-supermacro/wiki/Keyboard-Commands Oh, and change {{a}} to whatever letter you want. I'll need to dig into Super Macro more bc it looks a lot more useful than I initially thought. Thanks!
