cannot reproduce Intermittent Gun Sight

I do not see a post on this subject, so I will start one.

 

Does anyone else have a problem with the P-47D gun sight only turning on about one out of three times?  Doesn't matter how many times I cycle the gun camera toggle switch.  It either works first time or not at all.
