mytai01 Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 (edited) My EVGA RTX 3090 Ultra Gaming PC has been shutting down only when using my HP Reverb G2 playing DCS World 2.7.4. It's reaching 82C...this has only happened since about the 30 June 2021 update...and only in VR... I can play for about 30 minutes before it crashes. Below is a Jayztwocents video about an emerging problem involving the 3080/90 EVGA cards. https://youtu.be/KLyNFrKyG74 Edited July 23, 2021 by mytai01 MS Win7 Pro x64, Intel i7-6700K 4.0Ghz, Corsair RAM 16Gb,EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0, w/ Adjustable RGB LED Graphics Card 08G-P4-6286-KR, Creative Labs SB X-FI Titanium Fatal1ty Champ PCIe Sound Card, Corsair Neutron XTI 1TB SSD, TM Warthog Throttle & Stick, TM TPR Pedels, Oculus Rift VR Headset CV1, Klipsch Promedia 4.1 Speakers...
Flappie Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 W10 is a modern O.S. It's supposed to withstand any application crash. Your shutdown issue is most probably caused by a hardware issue. Auto shutdown means you probably have interesting logs in your Windows Event Viewer. Take a look at the Windows Software and System logs at the time of your crashes. What do you see? ---
