Digitalvole Posted July 31, 2021 Posted July 31, 2021 (edited) I saw a video on youtube the other day saying Facebook are going to be moving to Open Xr for their VR devices, and want Open Xr to become the one api to rule them all as it were. If true does this mean we should be seeing support for it in DCS sooner or latter? Also would that be a good thing? What are the benefits of open xr over say steam vr? I have it installed for msfs as I have a G2 but know next to nothing about it. Just some Saturday morning wonderings Edited July 31, 2021 by Digitalvole

Digitalvole Posted July 31, 2021 Author Posted July 31, 2021 But by the sounds of it soon it will have to be, or every headset will need to use steam vr. Was just wondering if this will be a good thing or not? Not to worry, I’ll see if I can find those other threads.
VitS Posted July 31, 2021 Posted July 31, 2021 Facebook told that they will support oculus vr api in existing games forever.
