mari8it
hi, great campaign thank you RS, anyway after 2.7 update mission 3 is unflyable, the bombers fly very slow and in a zig zag pattern so is impossible to escort, many of them fall in the sea or collide with eachother and the others still alive disappears after a wile and arriving at dover there are no bombers at all, I terminate the mission returning to base without completing the mission obtaining 100%, also the secondary task is impossible cause the spitfires goes airborn as I arrive and take me down every time , without the intervention of 109 squadron, no chanche to evade. thanks Edited July 31, 2021 by mari8it
Reflected
Thanks for the feedback! In the current OB the orbit task is broken and it broke many of my campaigns unfortunately. The ai just can’t break orbit properly. I’ve already reported to ED and a fix is coming in the next update. As you fly to Hwkinge the first Spit flight just gets airborne, the rest can be shot down on the ground. Easy targets. Don’t fight them alone, order the squadron to attack using the f10 radio menu. Rostic
Problem still exists. But I was lucky to escort 4 (from 12) bombers to Dover. I'm flying open beta version. Edited August 31, 2021 by Rostic

Most of them splashed into the water. Few collided. Those that survived reached the target and returned to base. At least one of them successfully landed before I ended mission. Damn stupid AI...I can't believe how even the most basic functions such as orbit, stop orbiting, follow, etc... can't be relied upon... I noticed they were orbiting pretty low. At about 200-300m. Maybe increasing altitude to 500-600meter solves the problem?
Reflected
Nah, 2 updates ago it worked flawlessly. It’s a core AI bug that ED said they fixed but apparently not. Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
Reflected
OK, I recorded a track and sent it to ED to push for a solution. AI has been a complete mess in the latest 2-3 updates. I can tell the AI WHAT to do in the mission editor, but whether it actually does that depends on the core DCS, and if it's bugged like now, there isn't much I can do about it except record tracks and push for a fix Edited September 2, 2021 by Reflected 2 Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
