  1. What all those watermarks doing there?
  2. I'm curious why developers still not started working on A-20G as player flyable aircraft??? It seems like half of work already complete, because AI flyable external model already in the game. Basically it is like mosquito with turret gunner position. Or I'm mistaken and also some complicated systems have to be implemented into DCS core or for aircraft module?
  3. Setup keys on the screenshot. But proper page (DIST/BRG TIME) have to be selected on AN/ASN-128B GPS DPLR

  5. So to check the texture in tool made for checking model and texture I have to make special (wrong) texture with inverted green channel, but for this texture work correct in game I have to invert it again? Well, that sounds strange.
  6. But I can't get it how to solve that problem? By the way it is not only with B-17, also I saw same problem on A-20 and P-51. Did not checkd anything else.
  7. Yep, I readed about that tips and tricks. Tryed all of them, it doesn't help. Did you tryed to open B-17 in your Model Vieiwer?? How it looked like? What version of model viewer are you using?
  8. Hm. Is it? I used "Tools -> Mount Textures -> Mount ZIP" for loading textures. So all textures loaded in one click. I thought model has enough information to understand what has to be loaded. Also material info packed in separete file. For B-17 it is files with "_S" postfix. If MV load wrong file, because colors looks OK it is only normal map file left, so maperials will change in gradients. I'm quite sure problem in MV, but maybe some one do not have that effect and can tell me what version of MV is working fine
  9. Any ideas why in ModelViewer2 (edModelViewer2-2.8.1.34101.exe) materials looks inverted to the game. In viewer gears, nose pinup and other elements have glossy effect, while in game not. But polished metal in viewer looks like it is painted, while in game it looks correct?

First of all I have to say that I just started learning 3d modeling just a couple of weeks ago, so I'm quite a noob in this I got a problem after I added new edges to get more details but got bad effect when edges became visible when model shaded in ED ModelViewer2. How I can solve this problem? The only tool that do not increase number of polygons I know in 3ds max 2016 is to use button "Smooth" in Modelling tab.
  11. When I have ModelViewer2 (edModelViewer2-2.8.1.34101.exe) running it is utilizing 100% GPU core even when it is not visible or minimized. Can this be solved some how? P.S. Sorry if this is not apropriate topic for ModelViewer discussion, but I didn't found appropriate one.
  12. I'm started creating model and by mistake I did in the very begining I got pivot point in bad position. But for unknown reason after I'm changing pivot point position, expot to EDM file cause 3ds max crash. I have no idea what am I doing wrong? edm-plugins-214085.exe 3ds max 2016 (18.0 SP3)

  14. This aircraft so cool, that you have to start separate topic dedicated to this aircraft But I wish to get multi engine level bomber with autopilot and all other whistels and bells and B-25 is best choice (it is even better than A-20 because Mitchel was long range bomber and has co pilot)
