Hi Badger,

Recently completed your Rise of the Persian Lion campaign and thought it was fantastic.

Can you give us any information on what future campaigns you are currently working on and for which aircraft they may be? (Hoping for more F18 or an F14 campaign)

Thanks!

Hi, Badger,

I have played some of your campaigns and I really enjoyed them.

Do you have any plans for other jets? e.g. F14 or F16 campaigns?

Hi @Kiseki_Yu

Glad you enjoyed the campaigns. Not yet decided on what to do next. Busy at the moment trying to keep all the campaigns up to date with all the DCS updates recently issued.

Looking for a possible campaign subject with a good location that will produce a good campaign with an interesting storyline.

I favour the F18 as most have this and it allows land and sea operations and covers most mission types. That's not to say I would not write for other aircraft if a good campaign idea came along.

Any ideas always welcome.

Cheers

Thank you very much for your reply.

I'd be happy to see if you can expand your worldview of campaigns and FORD's legends from the perspective of other F14 and F16 squadrons

Hi!

I really enjoyed your free Serpent's Head campaign and now started a Serpent's Head 2 which is also have a very good start. With "movie"- it war surprising-).

I had also completed a (i think famous) Rising Squall campaign but i liked free Serpent's Head more. Why? Yes, Rising Squall have a nice "cinematic" moments, but i think in Serpent's Head i felt myself like a real pilot on a real missions and in Rising Squall i felt myself like in game with no necessary to land, with these radio chit-chat also.  But there is 1 thing what i liked much: temporary checkpoint save system. It's so nice when you faced a hard part of the mission and if you failed-you don't need to pass "30-or-even-more minutes of clicking buttons and simple WPT flying..." to try this part again. And it works only until restart of the mission, so if you want to fly mission from the start-just press ctrl+R-).

So i would like to..let's say it's a question and idea at the same time: as your campaigns is a "beginner" friendly (correct me if i'm wrong) may be it will be a good idea to add this feature to your existing or next campaigns?

@Badger633

I really enjoy your campaigns.

it is from a short period of time that I have started to fly confidently with the Hornet, so I just finished the SH 1 & 2 and flying through the RoPL1.

love Ford and would love to see him flying over Afghanistan just like it’s possible to read some stories in the Fire Strike 7/9 book!!!

And because I experienced to JTAC-ing some Hornets back in the country

Thanks a lot for your awesome campaigns

Hey @DN308

Thanks for the kind words.

Book looks interesting will give it a look. Not sure how much work the Hornet got in Afghanistan though.

Where did you get JTAC experience?

You will certainly come across some JTACs in my campaigns. Enjoy Rise of the Persian Lion and hopefully ROPL2 and Operation Green Line.

Cheers. 🙂👍

I’ll do and will go through the next sequels of ‘Ford’ stories!

I had my experience in the RC-E area, northward from Bagram and in the valleys around Nijrab, Tagab, Al Asay and Surobi/Uzbeen…

Actually there are some good stories about some Hornets coming from the sea down to the Green zone in the Sangay Valley next to Helmand

Hey @DN308

Your experiences are Impressive and interesting.

Are there any books or info you are aware of regarding Hornets coming from the sea down to the Green zone in the Sangay Valley?

Hi @Badger633,

In the book Fire Strike 7/9, the author talks about some Hornets coming from the sea.

There is even a story of two hornets that had failures in the middle of a bomb run and that have to distract to Kandahar as an emergency landing

I don’t know if there is other books about that
