Saipan airport floodlights are not real lights, just textures

At Saipan airport, the big flood lights next to the terminal have corresponding areas of the tarmac that appear to be illuminated.  However, upon closer inspection the lights are not light sources, but just bright textures applied to semi-transparent polygons, and the ground illumination is just a texture.  Aircraft that enter this area are not illuminated.

Yes, and quite frankly, they look rather awful.

Personally, I wish in a subsequent update the vastly improved lighting technology on the current SoH/PG map be applied to other maps, as the lights are vastly superior to that of any other map.

The light is still a texture (none of the floodlights in DCS are actual light sources so to speak, and none of them actually illuminate anything underneath them), but it looks a hell of a lot better than this.
