Black6 Posted August 19, 2021 Posted August 19, 2021 After today's update to 2.7.5. I've lost authorization for F-16 and Syria. DCS Repair took no effect. Any solution?

Hi, looking at the log it doesnt seems to be a time issue, as other modules are validated without issue, only the F-16, F-5 and Syria are not authorized. You said that you have already done the DCS repair, but on the log I can see that your DCS does not reach the main menu .. can you please describe in more detail your issue? Black6 Posted August 19, 2021 Author Posted August 19, 2021 In the message on the screen it wasn't mentioned but F-5 is also off. Sending a new log after a short mission. Excluding DCS from antivirus control didn't take any effect. dcs.log
Black6 Posted August 19, 2021 Author Posted August 19, 2021 I tried to install new module - mirage and it works fine. So I wanted to unistall f-16 and f-5, but I wasn't able to do it in module manager.

Hello, OK, now the log looks more normal .. you say that you've already run a DCS repair and the C:\DCS World\ path is on the exclusion list of your antivirus. The only other possible cause, could be a user Mod on Saved Games conflicting somehow with the official Modules .. I see that you have the A-4E Mod, but could be others that don't show on the log .. we can do a quick test to check if that's the case: 1) Rename the "C:\Users\cerny\Saved Games\DCS" folder to "DCS.bak" (using normall windows file management tools). 2) Run DCS until it gets to the main menu .. it will ask for your ED user credentials and will most likely display on a window instead of full screen, that's OK. 3) Now exit DCS, what we did is just to allow DCS to create a new default "C:\Users\cerny\Saved Games\DCS" folder. 4) Copy the "C:\Users\cerny\Saved Games\DCS.bak\config" folder onto "C:\Users\cerny\Saved Games\DCS\" ... be careful, as windows by default will try to MOVE the folder (as it is on the same drive), don't let it, instead COPY it to this place. What we are doing is in effect to recover your prior DCS configuration. 5) Now, run DCS again .. it should start in a normal way with your previous graphics config and aircraft key bindings. If your F-16, F-5 and Syria modules now work, then the problem origin lies on your previous /Saved Games/DCS.bak/ folder ... most likely a user mod. If the Modules still do not pass authorization, then you will have to open a support ticket here, so they can check your licenses: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/ Tell me how it went, so I can then tell you how to restore your prior saved games folder Eduardo Edited August 19, 2021 by Rudel_chw For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB

It was not posible by using in-game module manager so I had to erase it by using following procedure: www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/repair/#2463807 Now everything is working fine. 2
