markturner1960 Posted August 21, 2021 Posted August 21, 2021 Hi, despite copying over my old config file, when setting up my new PC some assigments are missing. One of these is the wheelbrake to my rudders. Easil;y added you say, but in my case, not. I checked in control panel and its all working fine there. when I go to controls in DCS, and try and assign either an axis or by using the "add" button, no input is picked up when I press the toebrake. So I cant assign it. Any ideas? System specs: PC1 :Scan 3XS Ryzen 5900X, 64GB Corsair veng DDR4 3600, EVGA GTX 3090 Win 10, Quest Pro, Samsung Odyssey G9 Neo monitor.
dburne Posted August 21, 2021 Posted August 21, 2021 Check closely for a duplicate axis assignment for the wheelbrakes. Brun Posted August 24, 2021 Posted August 24, 2021 Using the Key / Button drop down menu. Trial and error to get the right axis, but that shouldn't present too much trouble when there's only three. Ermes Posted August 27, 2021 Posted August 27, 2021 Try to recallibrate the pedals. I had the same problem and that solved it to me.
markturner1960 Posted August 30, 2021 Author Posted August 30, 2021 thanks, I was not able to get it to work, using the suggestions, but was able to copy over the relevant section of teh .lua file from my old install and it works!
