sirrah Posted August 23, 2021 Posted August 23, 2021 (edited) Love the Sunday supplement Apache Storm! Totally cranks up my craving level for the Apache even further Having lots of fun with the Hind now, but every time I fly it, I'm basically just dreaming I'm flying the AH-64D Ahh... just imagine having that gun follow your HMD and instantly being able to shoot everything you want within your field of view ... This is gonna be sooo powerful on our virtual battlefields One small question for ED though: I assume you guys will release a technical (ground unit), together with EA release of the Apache, so we don't have to rely on a user made mod. I mean.. Really, we will need technicals to shoot at Edited August 23, 2021 by sirrah 1 1 System specs: i7-8700K @stock speed - GTX 1080TI @ stock speed - AsRock Extreme4 Z370 - 32GB DDR4 @3GHz- 500GB SSD - 2TB nvme - 650W PSU HP Reverb G1 v2 - Saitek Pro pedals - TM Warthog HOTAS - TM F/A-18 Grip - TM Cougar HOTAS (NN-Dan mod) & (throttle standalone mod) - VIRPIL VPC Rotor TCS Plus with ALPHA-L grip - Pointctrl & aux banks <-- must have for VR users!! - Andre's SimShaker Jetpad - Fully adjustable DIY playseat - VA+VAICOM - Realsimulator FSSB-R3 ~ That nuke might not have been the best of ideas, Sir... the enemy is furious ~ GUMMBAH

sirrah Posted August 23, 2021 Author Posted August 23, 2021 Did anyone here perhaps read the entire book yet? I was about to purchase the ebook, when I saw this book: Apache: inside the cockpit of the world's most deadly fighting machine Even though the title is very "1995 Discovery Channel", the sort of technical first person writing style in this preview really appeals to me. Which book would you advice me to read (first)?
