100 hours

Just passed 100 hours in DCS. majority of it in VR, but probably 20ish hours spent dealing with settings and keybinds, and the editor. 

The F16 and Spitfire probably has the most love, followed by the F18 then Mustang and Thunderbolt after that.

The Logbook does not account time spent on the settings and mission editor, only flight time on SP missions and Campaigns. Also, I believe that MP flight time is not accounted for too.  .. not sure also if Training missions are accounted.

This is from steam, so it count all total time the game is on.

Ahh .. ok, I fly on Standalone, so didn't even think of that .. I tought that you meant the DCS Logbook:

I did an excel sheet to record the time I fly with each model after each session. I know it sounds very obsessive, but it doesn't cost too much to do it. I also count the time online and add it. It helps me understand which module I use the most, how long time, which I haven't used and how much the module has cost me in relation to the hours I have dedicated to it. For future purchases, it makes me clear what my real tastes are.

I used to do the same, but after almost 1,500 missions I stopped updating the spreadsheet, it was actually too much work   .. that was on 2019, nowadays my Tacview folder has 10,900 files so I doubt that I would have ever been able to keep recording it manually.

 

I wish ED would improve their Log enough to actually make it useful:

 

a) Record every flight: SP, MP, training, etc, measuring only in-sim time, from power up to shutdown.

b) Distinguish between ground landing and carrier recovery

c) Distinguish between VR or Monitor flight time.

d) Mission counter.
