Mission 2 Reports Failure just as you are transiting to Al-Ain control and getting the order to climb to 20. On the basis that I did not land at Al Bateen, which i did; I also reported the heavy via F10 as requested... looks like a flag isn't being set correctly?

also in M1 and 2 the board numbers are not displayed in the HMD via the datalink just 0000 for all aircraft.

Hi, will look into it. Not sure what has happened as never happened to me or the others that have flown it.  
Are you normal campaign or EZ refuel?

Think I know what might have happened. Did you by any chance come off at the very first left turn of the runway. If so you would have missed the landing flag.  The idea is that you should continue to the end of the runway. I mention this in the brief. You would have also then missed the marshal vehicle taking you to the refueler. 

 

Can you confirm this is what happened 

 

I will look at making this even more clearer and adjust the flag location for next update..

 

When I say normal campaign. there are two versions . One with normal air to air refuel and a second option with  ez air to air refuel for those pilots that haven't quite got that down.

Just checked your track which was clear immediately.

 

The flag for landing is on the runway and you need to be below 140 knts to distinguish between landed and flying aircraft. The landing was very fast in fact you look  like you were over 200kts. which is way above landing speed.  If you were below 140 knts  then it would have picked you up.

Yep Mission 2 works fine when you arent landing at over 200 knots ... just a thought maybe update the flag after refuelling is complete ?

Hey Glyn, i think he is saying he pressed the F10 option too early and then couldn't access it when he was on station.  his suggestion was not to have the option available until you are closer to the target .

Replayed it now, looks like it was my fault. Didn't tune to Whiplash frequency prior to WP6, probably that's why I missed the contact message option in F10 on FM radio.

There is no Whiplash codename in the kneeboard  of mission 2 of the  'Rise of the Persian Lion' Campaign?  Have you posted in the correct place?
