For weeks, my sim room had been taken up by a redundant racing rig as all my sim time was on DCS World. But today with a little bit of help from my other half rearranged things and it works great now for VR on iRacing at the rig - and DCS World at the desk. The 10-port powered USB hub a god-send as it allows you to switch off individual ports, for example the racing pedals always do weird things in DCS when connected.

I have a similar room. Iwould strongly recommend desk mounts, althoug they might be tricky to fit that particular table.
I also noticed you attended the same Cable Management University than I did.

😅

That cable jungle will be a dust magnet and not easy to keep clean.

I strongly suggest you guys to get some double sided velcro strip, to bind all those cables together. I got myself some 5 meter long strip. It's super cheap and was more than enough for my DIY VR setup (see signature).

And, as Tundra said, if you're even remotely serious to stay with DCS, invest in some HOTS desk mounts (or even better, don't waste too much money and just make desk mounts yourself)
